How to Attract, Screen and Select Great People and be EEOC and OFCCP Compliant
Each Tuesday, beginning February 20, 2007 and continuing for 5 weeks thereafter, CRI will conduct a teleconference focusing on providing employers with practical information and solutions for identifying the best talent from a pool of applicants, improving the performance of new hires, and retaining top talent, all while meeting the compliance requirements established by the EEOC and OFCCP.

leading military related job board on the Internet. As a recipient of the 2004 and 2005 Weddle's User's Choice Award, the site is
ranked as one of the top 30 job boards out of 40,000 on the Internet. Ted has been active in the recruiting industry since 1994.
Ted is an internationally recognized expert on the use of the Internet for recruiting. He is published, has
testified before Congress and is an in demand speaker at human resources and Department of Defense conferences and symposiums.
Ted is a Thought Leader for the Human Capital Institute, a futurist consultant for The Herman Group, is an advisor to several
members of congress and is the host of a weekly radio show called Career Call. Ted will focus on how employers can recruit for
better quality candidates and ensure EEOC and OFCCP compliance.
·Robert Sniderman, Ph.D., SPHR. Dr. Sniderman is a
renowned consultant and coach to business executives and owners currently working with both for-profit and non-profit
organizations. He is an accomplished speaker, published researcher and teacher at the university level. He has spoken at
national conventions and conferences on such topics as: Generational Issues in Business and Associations; Recruitment,
Selection Assessment and Retention Programs; other Human Resource Management topics; Organizational change; Ethical Business
Practices; and Integrated Return to Work Programs. His book, "Considering Generations" A Generational Issues Primer,
was published in 2003.
Bob will focus on the use of pre-employment selection tools for screening candidates and how to determine
who is the best candidate for a specific job. Bob will also discuss tools to use to improve the performance of new hires.
Emphasis will include legality and validity of pre-employment selection processes and how to ensure they meet compliance
requirements.
·Bruce Kuehnl. Mr. Kuehnl served for 18 years in
various capacities at the Labor Department's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, most recently as the Acting
District Director of OFCCP's Portland, Oregon office. While with the OFCCP, Mr. Kuehnl developed specialized expertise in
computer applications relating to the statistical analysis of workforce race and gender profiles, movement patterns, and
compensation practices. At OFCCP, Mr. Kuehnl also served as the agency's National and Regional Microcomputer Coordinator,
and as a compliance officer/investigator.
Bruce is considered an expert in the area of Affirmative Action compensation analysis, working with
companies and corporations of all sizes to ensure their compensation practices are fair and statistically relevant. Bruce
brings his expertise to EEO Logic, an organization he formed after leaving OFCCP to provide consulting on affirmative action
planning, corporate management audits, and OFCCP compliance reviews. Clients of EEO Logic include many Fortune 500 companies.
·John Horn. Mr. Horn is Manager of Human Resources
for Kelly Tractor Co., a multi-location Caterpillar equipment dealer based in Miami, Florida. John is a Retired Naval
Officer and former VP of Human Resources for Windjammer Cruises. Kelly Tractor Co. received a notice of a compliance audit
from the OFCCP shortly after John accepted the position as Kelly's Manager of Human Resources. John will provide personal
insight into the processes involved in an OFCCP audit from an employer's perspective, including the time and costs associated
with preparing for the audit and what an actual audit is like.
